"Never staying anywhere else." 5
I travel to Barbados often for work and vacation and I have to say that this house is a hidden gem. I have fallen in love with the relaxed vibe of Half Moon Fort - well worth a few minutes drive further north to St. Lucy. You will not be disappointed.
The villa is clean and has everything you need. The views from the terrace are incredible and I loved the private steps down to the sea for swimming and snorkelling. You really don't need to stray far from the property to have an unbelievable vacation. There are amazing uncrowded beaches both directions from the house, fresh fish within walking distance, fancy oceanfront meals at Fish Pot just down the way. We loved Braddie's bar, Merton's and so many other spots. Its a quick drive to Holetown for fancy shopping and nightlife (newly opened Nikki Beach and Port Ferdinand are even closer), and easy to get groceries in Speightstown, or walk up to St. Elmos.
I will be back many times over! Thank you Les and Linda for your wonderful hospitality and sharing your home with us.

My partner, daughter (aged 8), and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seaspray. The property is very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with all that you would need to accommodate your stay. Daphne our cleaner was amazing and very discrete, and the property Manager Tricia very helpful.
Merton's Fish Fry is a must, we visited on several occasions during our stay, for a very simple but delicious meal, it is a 5 minute walk from Seaspray.
We had a great time and hope to return to this beautiful villa, which we are glad that we have discovered.

Just back from 10 days at Sea Spray Villas. The pictures accurately show the comfortable and well-appointed house but do not due justice to the setting and the water. It was such a pleasure to be able to spontaneously decide to go for a swim or snorkeling by just walking down the steps. Although we had a car and did swimming and snorkeling at other spots, right in front of the house was hard to beat and the most convenient. This is a well-run property and an excellent spot to discover Barbados away from the hotels and resorts.

About 50 metres away from the property is a lovely little beach, we had sole use of this beach while we were there. You could walk along this beach to the Fish Pot Restaurant, we sat on the seat at the end of their jetty and watched the most amazing sun sets. This really is a beautiful un-spoilt place to spend a Caribbean holiday, we intend to return.
Guests were in the villa below us for our 1st week but privacy was not an issue, we didn't even notice anyone was there. The villa has everything you need, including excellent wi-fi. The first thing that hits you when you walk into the villa is the truly outstanding view. You are right on the beach, it is not called Sea Spray for nothing, the only sound you could hear at night was the waves lashing against the property below.

"More than we expected!" 5
My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Seapray from Feb 15th to March 1st. I must say it was more than I expected. We were in the lower villa and absolutely loved it. The villa was clean cozy and quaint. We had a beautiful patio that looked out over the ocean.
There was so much we enjoyed about this spot. From the location to the very friendly people at Half Moon Fort, who were so willing to help you out. We rented a car and spent the mornings touring the Island and seeing the sites then back to the villa in the afternoons to snorkel right out front of the villa.
We met a local man from Half Moon Fort that became a good friend of ours and he took us out in his fishing boat to swim with the turtles and feed the colourful fish. The evenings were the best sitting out on the patio listening to the crashing waves and watching the stars.
We would highly recommend this spot to anyone who is looking for a private spot in beautiful Barbados.

"Best holiday ever!" 5
What a wonderful time we had in Barbados at the beautiful SeaSpray villa. The apartment was very well appointed and very comfortable. From the lovely deck we enjoyed the best Caribbean sunsets imaginable. We felt so well taken care of from the very start of renting from the Warners to connecting with Tricia who helped us settle in and was always there if we needed her. We fell in love with the island, its beauty and its people.
We loved the location--removed from the large resorts yet very conveniently located to beautiful beaches and getting around to other parts of the island.
Mertons, just up the road, was a delight--best fish fry and a fun place to spend a weekend night. The Fish Pot, just down the road, was delicious and elegant. Ju-Ju's Beach bar at Alleynes bay served delicious local fish and the beach there is great for snorkeling.
I could go on and on about everything that was wonderful about our holiday! We already miss our "home away from home" and would love to come back SOON!

"If you want to get any closer to the water you have to stay on a boat" 5
My younger brothers (16 and 18) and I have just returned from a fabulous one week holiday in Barbados. We chose to stay at Sea Spray Villa (as opposed to hotel) and we made the right choice.
The villa is located ON THE SEA. If you want to get any closer to the water you have to stay on a boat. The property is very nice and well taken care of. The pictures of the villa are nice, but in person the villa is even more beautiful.
Sea Spray is located in St. Lucy (Half Moon Fort/Moontown) (in the water you can actually see cannons from Half Moon Fort) The villa is very close to Speightstown, (make sure to check out Fisherman's Pub and the Shipwreck for authentic Bajan food). Also St. Elmos market (less than a 5 minute walk) (which is open very late) has great food and great entertainment on the weekends. Stop and get fresh fish from the vendors in Six Mens on the way to the villa.
We cannot recommend this villa enough. On a scale of 1-10 we rate the villa 100. I thank Les and Linda for checking in on us and making sure we were having a great time, and for also sharing the amazing property with us!

"Endless beautiful vistas, turquoise ocean and warm breezes 5
We spent a week at Sea Spray and were sorry to leave. We really enjoyed being right at the water's edge, where we could swim and snorkel, and have the beach to ourselves. The kitchen is well equipped and the balcony overlooking the sea provides endless beatiful vistas.
We really enjoyed our meal at the Fish Pot restaurant, and we had a fabulous time at the Bajan Buffet night at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion on Thursday night. Great food, music and dancing! We will be back!

My husband and I just returned from a one week stay at the Sea Spray Villas and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The villas itself was very clean and location was ideal to swim, snorkel, experience the beautiful sunsets, enjoy a coffee on the patio in the morning while truly feeling a part of the Bajan culture.
The description regarding the villas was exactly as described and did not disappoint. The owners were truly interested that you and your family had a wonderful experience, this was made evident when they called to ensure we arrived safely and were satisfied with the accommodations as well as a call later in the week to ensure all was well. Overall a wonderful, relaxing holiday that we'll never forget. Thank you to Les and Linda for making us feel right at home and for sharing your "little piece of heaven" with us.

We have just returned from a week at Sea Spray Villa. Everything you read in the listing and see in the photos is exactly as described. The property is clean and well cared for, and the owners and property manager were always concerned for our comfort and well-being by checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt like we were staying at a friend's cottage, which is a nice alternative to a hotel. Thanks again to the lovely owners for sharing their little piece of paradise with us. They were a pleasure to deal with.

Sea Spray exceeded every single expectation we had for our trip! The pictures can't possibly give you the same sense of peace and joy as actually waking up every morning to the sight of beautiful blue waters right out your window! Or enjoying the calm tide with a brand new sunset every evening! Or feasting on our daily catch for dinner under what seemed like an endless canopy of stars!
The Villa itself: PERFECT!!! Everything about Sea Spray Villa was amazing! It was so clean, and was equipped with everything you can possibly need for your stay. The kitchen had all the tools needed to prepare delicious meals, snacks and drinks. Both levels were well kept and the lower patio was the perfect spot to start and end each day!
Les and Linda- Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful piece of paradise! This was a trip that our family will forever cherish as it gave us a chance to really spend some quality time together and enjoy all the things we love most!

My family stayed at Sea Spray in the upstairs unit for 3 days. It was everything we hoped for. We felt like we had our own little private part of the Island to ourselves. We walked everywhere, and the girls couldn't get enough of collecting shells, building castles, etc. The home itself was very comfortable and relaxing. We can't recommend this highly enough. Thanks to the property manager who was very warm and welcoming. We felt at home.

Sea Spray is THE place to stay to experience Barbados! You can't ask for a better place to stay. The house is steps away from the beautiful ocean, and the balcony is the perfect place to enjoy a rum punch while watching the sun set over the calm sea. For the short six day stay we felt right at home and extremely safe. The property manager and owners were extremely accommodating to our needs. Its been less than a few days since we left Sea Spray and I am itching to get back. I would highly suggest staying here and plan on returning in the near future.

"I wouldn't stay anywhere else! It is the perfect choice." 5
Seaspray at Half Moon Fort is the perfect place to stay on Barbados. The deck overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea provides awesome sunsets and a wonderful opportunity to look right down into the sea and through the crystal clear water you can see the fish and coral below. Your own access to the water is a great way to cool off or stroll two minutes to virtually your own beach. The owners have provided all the amenities: a full kitchen, washer and dryer, ceiling fan (though with the wonderful breezes it was hardly needed), a/c in the bedrooms, even WIFI if you want to stay connected. The apartment was clean and well kept. A quick walk you are at the local market for most of your needs. There is an oceanfront restaurant (Merton’s) across the street from the little market serving fresh fish which was delicious. There is access to public transportation to get to almost anywhere on the island. Seaspray is away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts yet convenient to the necessities. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else, it was the perfect choice.

"Its a Jaw-Dropper the first time you see it." 5
If you want real oceanfront, look no further. The view is spectacular from the balcony. Its a Jaw-Dropper the first time you see it. You can always hear the ocean waves coming into the shore. The small sandy beach is virtually your own, as it is protected by coral rock both sides and a larger beach is a short walk south (Bring your snorkel gear). Villa is well-equipped, clean, modern and was spacious enough for the four of us. We were very comfortable at Seaspray; we believe it is very good value for money. The owner of Seaspray was very welcoming and attentive. We would go back again, for sure.

From anywhere in the cottage you can hear the gentle crash of the waves and you can easily go out for a swim and snorkel (dont forget to bring!) by taking a few steps just a few feet below. There are two generously sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all very clean and comfortable with large storage areas for your things, even had hairdryers in both bathrooms. Beachtowels, chairs, and cell phone were included! The kitchen was very well equipped and there is a great little supermarket about 1 minute walking distance up the street perfect for anything you need. Visit the fish fly at merton's right across from the supermarket in the evenings, delicious and fresh seafood in a casual and friendly atmosphere, so much better than chaotic oistens! We will definitely stay at seaspray cottage again, next time we will bring our family and rent both upper and lower units!!

"Snorkelled all the way down the west coast!" 4
We had a great time at the villa and enjoyed the surrounding beaches and attractions. The house was well furnished and comfortable. The small sand area at the base of the stairs (perhaps 10 steps) was an easy into the water most of the time. One minute walk to either Smittons (to the right out the door) or Half Moon Fort beach (to the left) were available. We like to be in the more family areas of an island and having beaches to ourselves rather than in the hotel areas so this place was great for us. There are large number of fish available just at the house beach and you can often see them from the balcony.

"Totally fallen in love with the north of the island!" 5
We ordered some groceries before leaving the uk which were there on arrival. We organised with Valdez to take us to the cricket at the Kensington oval, he even went down to the box office prior and purchased us tickets so that we did not have to que on match day( we loved Valdez) the apartment was very well equipped as advertised and had everything we needed for a chilled and relaxed holiday. Having your own little private beach was an added bonus. It was like a Bajan family had moved out and let you stay in there home.The owners Les and Linda call us several times to make sure we were happy and settled. We have stayed in Barbados many times normally in the St James area but we have now totally fallen in love with the north of the island. We would highly recommend seaspray if you want to experience the real Barbados.Thank you very much Les and Linda (our new family) we will be BACK.

This was my fourth trip to the island, as I come every February. I can honestly say this was the best spot I have stayed. If you are looking for a very chill location that has everything you need, this is the spot for you. The condo is clean, well equipped and close to everything. The snorkeling right out of the condo is amazing. St. Elmo's right up the road has everything you need and the Fish Pot was good.

"Everything you need in easy walking distance." 5
We stayed at Sea Spray in early December 2016- my husband, 24 year-old son and, for the last few days, his girlfriend. I had chosen Sea Spray after sifting through numerous rental properties and I didn't stop congratulating myself the whole time we were there! For us, it was perfect. The villa is very comfortable - both double bedrooms have an en suite bathroom, making it ideal for two couples as well as a family. The air-con keeps the bedrooms very cool and the ceiling fans are just right in the light and airy living room; the wifi is excellent. And, as others have commented, Sea Spray is wonderfully close to the Caribbean Sea. If we hadn't wanted to explore the island, it being our first visit, I think we could have spent our whole stay in the villa and its immediate surroundings as everything we needed was within easy walking distance. As well as the villa's private access to the sea, there are two beaches close-by, one (unnamed, I think) to the south of the villa and visible from the balcony, and the other, Fr(e)yers Well beach, a short walk to the north. Both are quiet and unspoiled - but if your preference is for sunbeds and watersports a bus ride south will take you to Mullins beach.

"Overwhelming sense of relaxation." 5
Upon our arrival at the lower level, the stunning view of the ocean, the abundant vegetation and the coziness of the patio combined to provide an overwhelming sense of relaxation. We had spent the previous weeks on the busy south coast, and we immediately felt any remaining tension dissolve completely.
The property is clean, it is well furnished and it lives up to its description. Linda the owner was very attentive, contacting us by email and phone to make certain that our stay was enjoyable. We very much enjoyed the snorkelling, accessing the water via the private stairway: we kept going back to the beautiful coral reefs that were teaming with tropical fish, with occasional sightings of turtles.

We recently returned from a wonderful stay at the Sea Spray Villa. We were two couples and we rented the upstairs unit. This Villa lives up to all of the pictures and positive reviews. It is beautifully finished and fully equipped with a full variety of glassware, utensils, cooking equipment etc. Everything is of very good quality. There is also a big screen TV and satellite. With the front door open and the French doors to the balcony open, a smooth Caribbean breeze fills the unit.
The location is ideal for travellers who do not want to stay in the heart of the ‘hotel district.’ No early morning attempts to secure a chair in the sun for the day are required..! The villa is very secure and private, yet only a 2 minute walk from local amenities.
The snorkelling right in front of the Villa is as good as anywhere on the island. Entering the ocean from your own private beach is an added bonus. We did also enjoy swimming with the Turtles from the beach behind the Lone Star.
The owners, Les and Linda were very generous with their time and patience. They were in contact with us throughout our vacation to ensure that everything was as expected and available for any questions that we may have. They also arranged for our airport pick up. Our driver, Valdez, was very professional and informative.
Thank you so much Les and Linda for making our first trip to Barbados so memorable. When we plan our return trip we will be contacting you again…!

"Overwhelmed by the hospitality and thoughtfullness of the owners." 5
Myself and my husband had a fantastic time at seaspray and were overwhelmed by the hospitality and thoughtfulness of Linda and Les the owners who made sure by getting in touch very regularly that everything was going well. The position of the villa for us could not have been better, the view especially-near enough to enjoy wonderful restuarants and sophisticated cuisine and shopping but not too "touristy" and it was situated near local amenities and wonderful people. The villa has wonderful views and is well equipped. Our son stayed for one week with us and he enjoyed it very much. We saw a green parrot, monkeys and even a sea eagle catching a fish from the balcony-we hope to return and see them again. Thank you for a lovely time.

The condo is amazing and much like other reviews have pointed out, the owners contacted us several times to ensure our stay was going well. Nice touch! The waves crash below the condo making this an ideal getaway from city life.
Locally, just 1 minute walk up the road on the right is St. Elmos Sports bar and grocery store with local Bajan cuisine! Say Hi to Lucy for me! They also have Karaoke on the weekends. The bakery is amazing too although you might miss it if you didn't know it was on your left when entering the grocery store. Across the street is Merton's which has a fish fry Fridays and Saturdays. A far different experience than Oistens! More of a local feel to it than touristy. I highly recommend visiting these places. Also, be entertained by some of the most energetic domino players I have ever seen!

"We visited the tourist chaos on the south coast and realized we had made the right choice." 5
Although a little apprehensive at how far up the west coast we were driving to Sea Spray, it turned out to be an excellent location - cross island access to Andromeda Botanical Gardens and our favorite deserted beaches on the east coast for those long walks, close access down to the shopping in Holetown (SuperCenter for the one stop shopping for supplies for the week) and Speightstown and also the central island attractions such as Harrison's Cave & Welchman's Gully.
The house is beautifully located right on the cliff with sea pounding below - great to hear the waves and have the gorgeous view. Plenty of room and everything you need for the stay - this is a great choice.

Our family of 5 spent 2 fantastic weeks at the Seaspray. The house is on top of a secluded bay, looking out over the ocean and coral cliffs, with a direct view to the sunset every day. It does not get more beautiful than this. The beach below is great for swimming, snorkeling and playing in the waves, but not for tanning. The area is a little away from the bigger hotels, which we enjoyed. Furthermore, the owners and the house managers are very helpful and professional about everything (thank you very much) and the facilities are flawless and as described on the website, so we were very happy campers.

Our family have just returned from seaspray barbados after a fantastic 10 day stay in this beautiful holiday home. We were first timers to this type of holiday - it was so easy to organise. Communication from the warners and trisha was really fast and so helpful. Trisha organised transfers from the airport for us so we stepped off the plane into a taxi and then into the sea - all very stress free.
The pictures of this house do not prepare you for how beautiful it is and how well maintained. The kitchen is home from home - with every appliance you could think of. Its really clean and also cleaned again for you during the week.Our children are 10 and 15 and for this age group couldn't want for more- great activity beach lots of snorkling. The house is a real treat - spacious and light and steps down to secluded beach which our kids swam from day break til sun set off.

"Great place for swimmers" 5
We stayed three weeks at the Seaspray Villa, upper level, in May and had a great time. As we like to swim a lot, we appreciated the small private beach accessible immediately from the house. The furnishing is very tasteful and practical at the same time. We also enjoyed the full internet access, wire based and wireless, which made possible to keep in touch with friends and relatives at home. Restaurants and shopping are at walking distance, so we didn’t need a car. For longer trips we just took a taxi or the bus, which stops just a few steps from the front door.
Tricia, the manager, was a great help in all situations and the owner was kindly checking by phone if everything is to our satisfaction, which it really was.

Transfer from the airport, warm welcome and info of importance for the stay was professionally taken care of by Tricia. Positively surprised we also got the owner on the line both on arrival and take off, caring of our wellbeing.
Concerning the property, everything was absolutely ok including equipment, cleaning, level of maintenance, layout etc. Furthermore, the location direct by the sea was breathtaking, both for your eyes and ears, the villa is truly a relaxing machine! Beyond expectations - if asked, we would recommend Sea Spray to our friends/relatives!

A wonderful home away from home. Two minutes walk to the local hangout of Moon Town where the food and conversations is great. Braddy's Bar in Six Men's Bay best for fish fries. Speightstown right down the road has delicious food also, and nearby beaches are beautiful. Sunsets off the deck of the house, with the waves crashing on the coral below were unforgettable. We had plenty of room for ourselves and two kids. Wireless internet and satellite TV for downtimes worked perfectly. Location worked so well for us as it was away from the big resorts, but close enough to major roads to see the entire island. Property manager, Tricia, was helpful and sweet. Place was cleaned to perfection by Ellen.

"It was a memorable vacation..." 5
My wife and I recently returned from a lovely 2 week stay at Sea Spray Villas in St. Lucy, Barbados. We were on the ground floor one bedroom unit. It had a large kitchen/dining/living room area which also included a full-size washer and dryer. The washing machine was very convenient, and we used the provided drying racks to dry our clothes out on the terrace. Since we did not rent a car (in hindsight, perhaps a mistake on our part) we used the bus and taxi systems available. All worked well for us. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. The highlight for us was sitting on the terrace, watching the sunsets and listening to the waves crash on the rocks. It was a memorable vacation, and we hope to return.

"...did I mention the view???!!" 5
From the minute we booked, there was an amazing response from our host. Good thing because I blithely went about booking an Airbnb without regard for traveling in a foreign country. Les and Linda made things so easy and they were ahead of the game in organizing us. I truly felt that we had a personal travel agent (what is that asked the younger generation)!
The house was exactly as pictured - crashing surf with perfect back ground noise to sleep, a private beach that is probably more accessible when the ocean is calmer than it was for us, laundry and a well appointed kitchen and did I mention “the view”???!!
The Bajan locals are lovely friendly people and we were so lucky to have met many who were sweet and kind and helpful. We loved the restaurants (Animal Flower Cave and Fish Pot stand out - The Cliff, not so much, over priced).
It was just a magical place and we were so lucky to have booked it in time before the Christmas rush. I’m sure it won’t be available much so book now!

We rented a car which was helpful since there isn’t so much to do in walking distance (though Fish Pot was great, and there is a public beach and a few other food stands in the area). The water was a bit rough by the house so we didn’t swim much there but drove a few minutes south to the harbor and swam there. Joel the property manager was very responsive and helpful, and the owners were also very communicative and called twice to check in.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sea spray! Steps lead down to the sea, is a good place for snorkelling and swimming. completely unspoilt views, all facilities necessary for a short break.

We had a wonderful time at SeaSpray. The setting is absolutely gorgeous with a spacious outside patio facing the ocean and a small private beach accessed by a walkway from the front door. The Villa was spotless and well furnished with all necessary amenities including a well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, stereo system, DirectTV, telephone for local calls, fast internet and a hot shower.
The property is on the upper northwestern part of the island and as such doesn’t attract the large crowds from the cruise ships or resorts closer to Bridgetown. While regularly scheduled bus service is available to most parts of the island and taxis are ubiquitous, we found that a car rental served our purposes best. SeaSpray makes a car available at a competitive rate without the hassle of a rental agency.
The hosts, Linda and Les Warner were top notch. From the initial booking to our final day they did everything possible to ensure a perfect vacation.
